Safari Outfitters has been doing our research so you don't have to! Recent changes in export regulations with U.S. Customs, requires hunters to obtain what is referred to as an “ITN” number.

1. In order to get this number you will first need to apply via the IRS (on line) for and EIN (tax i.d.) as a “sole proprietor”. Here is the link to apply for a EIN number online. https://sa.www4.irs.gov/modiein/individual/index.jsp
   
2. Once you have your EIN, you can then contact Coppersmith Customs Brokers and for a $50 fee they will assist in getting your ITN. The contact person we have been dealing with is Jackie O’Conner at the Los Angeles office – (310) 607-8000. She will assist with any questions you may have.
