A classic Marco Polo!

Jack Z. headed for Tajikistan in Nov. 2012 and not only took this perfectly symmetrical, classic Marco Polo, but as an added bonus he took a nice ibex as well! He reported seeing great numbers of sheep and had a great hunting adventure!

From Manhatten to the mountains

November can be cold in Manhatten, but Brian K. opted to leave the big city behind and explore the wind swept mountains of Tajikistan in 2011. His efforts paid off when he connected with this heavy horned Marco Polo! As for his return to Manhatten...he was just glad that HIS Manhatten is in Montana! NICE ram Brian!

On Top of the World

Tajikistan is the land of big valleys and high elevations. Frank G. (PA) was among one among one of our groups that hunted from the well known Hot Springs camp in the Pamir Mountains. This area holds some of the best Marco Polo populations and most hunters can expect to come home with a nice ram similar to what is pictured above. Congratulations Frank on taking a dandy Marco Polo!

A hop over the Bering Sea

Bob J. lives in Alaska, unfortunately when he hunted Kamchatka in Aug. 2011 there was no flight service from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk, so he had to travel all the way around the world (literally) to get there. The good news is that he scored by taking this nice ram! More good news is that starting July-Sept. this year, there IS flight service (one time per week) between Anchorage and Petropavlovsk...so if you are ready for a Kamchatka adventure, you flight time just got cut significantly. It's only about 4 1/2 hours to Petro from Anchorage! Contact us for details on this great hunt and the new direct flights!

The Land of Fire & Ice

The Kamchatka Peninsula (Russia) is a land of stark contrasts and is also home to the Kamchatka Bighorn. Deron M. hunted one of our top areas there in August 2011 and took this beautiful ram. If you enjoy adventure, beautiful country and exploring new parts of the world, Kamchatka is an outstanding destination!

Ibex in the Altai

Over the years John T. has been on many hunts with Safari Outfitters. Sept. 2011 found him hunting the rugged terrain of the Altai Mountains in western Mongolia in search of ibex. He was successful when he took this nice billy after a long stalk! Congrats John!

First time to Mongolia

Marty B. has hunted many parts of the world and is no rookie, but this was his first adventure to the wilds of Mongolia and while the big one got away, he returned home with a fine ram, new friends and a desire to return to the land of Genghis Khan! His Hanghay ram measured 47".
